New! 4Bed Htd Pool/Jacuzzi/5 Min to Beach/Tiki Hut

We got AI scammed with this one! First off, it is by no means “NEW” as advertised! The property does not look like the pictures. They were definitely AI generated! Lounge chairs are not the nice looking wooden ones shown in the pictures…they had a 2-3 descent ones and a row of 4 broken ones that had to legs to support them so they just laid broken on the floor. The hot tub was dirty! The beautiful looking table was absolutely filthy and all the chairs were frayed and would catch your pants & clothes! The ping pong table was broken and pooltable torn and filthy. The outdoor bar and tiki area were super cute but filthy. There was no basketball hoop for the kids to play…the broken base was there but no hoop! The yard backs the main road right at a light so cars are stopped at the light blasting music practically in your yard! The bathrooms, especially the main one did not look like they were cleaned before we arrived! 2/3 bathrooms didn’t have a garbage can and the kitchen garbage was broken. Overall descent house but not for the price we paid and allThe cleaning we had to do to be comfortable!

While the listing pictures a luxurious, well-kept house, the reality is much different. Lots of deferred maintenance ranging from peeling paint, cracking floors, moldy caulk in bathrooms, plumbing issues, dusty vents, cigarette burns and stains on couch, incredibly scuffed up walls and broken/chipped furniture. Various chemicals (muric acid, ant killer, etc..) were also stored openly which was a concern for us with small children. When we shared our concerns/house issues with the owner, their response was unprofessional on top of already challenging communication due to slow or no responses to our communications. Later the owner apologized for the unprofessional communication and issues with the house and gave us a partial refund which we were grateful for. As for the positives, aside from the partial refund the owner was open to some special cleaning requests we had prior to our arrival, the pool is lovely and the house is well located in close proximity to beach, restaurants and shopping. Still, we were pretty disappointed especially given the we paid.

The pictures of this listing do not match what you experience in real life. The backyard is on a busy street so the sound of traffic is very loud. The furniture is very worn. The location is good and the host is responsive.
